2/20: Cooking the Books Night: 15 Minute Vegan (Join!)
Any vegans out there? I'm skeptical any time there's a cookbook that says its dishes can be made in 15 minutes, but we're going to give the 15 Minute Vegan a try! I was a vegan once...for about 15 minutes, so this night will be a good one for me. Are you willing to give it a try?

2/27: Special Guest Ingredient Night: Chocolate (Join!)
It's a month for love, and who doesn't love chocolate! That means an entire menu built around chocolate. Obviously, dessert will be easy, but how about a salad, entrée and sides made with chocolate! In all, 4-5 dishes with wonderful cacao.

Our culinary journey continues with some really far out places. This month, we’ll be enjoying food from countries starting with the letter T, which means Thailand and Turkey and a host of other places not necessarily famous for their food. We may travel to Tunisia, Tanzania, Togo, Tuvalu, and Trinidad AND Tobago. So lots of adventure in store, and all cheaper than even a trip to the airport. Come join the fun!

3/12: Cooking the Books: The Greens Cookbook (Join!)
This is a go-to cookbook every couple of years because it's just so incredible. I've only been to Greens for a couple weddings, but I love their food and I love this cookbook. The recipes aren't easy, but they are luscious, and we'll be making 4-5 of them and then savoring them for days. Come be green with us!

3/19: Guest Chef Night: Reginald Roberts (Join!)
We're going to try to get Reggie out of his role at the New Parkway Theater for a lovely night of cooking and eating. I've known Reggie for more than ten years now, and he is full of love, both for food and the people he comes into contact with. Not sure what he'll have in store for us, but it will be wonderful. He'll design the menu and you all will cook the meal. Come see what it's all about!

3/26: Special Guest Ingredient Night: Avocado (Join!)
Late March is smack dab in the middle between the two biggest avocado eating days of the year: Cinco de Mayo and the Super Bowl. That means that this phenomenal fruit is in full bloom and we can enjoy it in so many ways! We love avocado and look forward to enjoying it fresh, fried, blended, baked, and more. Yum!

4/16: Cooking the Books: America’s Test Kitchen: The Complete Vegetarian Cookbook: A Fresh Guide to Eating Well (Join!)
I don’t even own this cookbook yet, but I love America’s Test Kitchen, and I’ve heard great things about this book. Even non-vegetarians rave about it, so I’m super excited to jump into it and put together a menu from the hundreds and hundreds of recipes. Come see what all the great fuss is about!
